Huone oli aika viileä ja sängyn peitto ei ollut ihan riittävän leveä kahdelle. Aamiainen oli herkullinen, keittiömestari kokkasi sen asiakkaan toiveiden mukaan (munia, pekonia, tai esim. full english... ym.)”

”Lovely place with a lot of character, perfect location, but unfortunately haven’t felt that unsafe in a hotel for a long time. There was only one fire exit, a narrow wooden staircase.”

Ravintolapalvelut ja pub saman katon alla. Ravintolassa hyvät ruoat ja niinkuin aina aamiainen lähes täydellinen. Pubissa paikallisia bittereitä ja aleja. Aikaa nähnyt rakennus, pienet narinat ja kaltevat lattiat kuuluvat lähes kaikkiin vastaaviin hotelleihin, joten se on otettava ominaisuutena ei vikana.”

”We had the penthouse right at the top of the Inn. Amazing room with lots of space. Small kitchen with cooker and fridge. Tea and coffee facilties, lityle balcony overlooking the main street. ”

”A traditional Dales Market Inn in a traditional Dales market Town. Great for a couples stay-away, especially mid week. Dining room is so popular that booking a table on reservation is advisable. ”

”I have stayed here a few times over the years and have always been happy with this hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the toilet and shower were clean, with plenty of hot water. The room I stayed in, (5), was above the main gate which meant it could be a bit noisy early in the morning, but not too serious. Staying above a bar, can be a bit noisy, but that is only to be expected. The room was very warm, I had to turn the radiator down, not a bad thing. The hotel is situated five minutes walk...

”I stayed here as a break on a trip going north. It was easy to get to off the motorway. A very sweet pub. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and quiet. A good English breakfast to set me off on the next day. ”

”One night stay in May 2024. The White Horse is a pub no more than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ripon and the cathedral. The rooms are converted stables at the back of the pub. The decor is basic and a little tired but if you’re going to book somewhere like this then you mustn’t expect opulence. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would certainly stay here again on a return trip to Ripon. ”
