”10/10 would stay again! Staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was tip top. The kids loved the pool. The adults loved the hot tub. Breakfast had lots of choices: make it yourself style (oatmeal, cereals, breakfast sandwiches), fruit, yogurt, bagels, bars, eggs, sausage, hard-boiled eggs, pancakes and more. The room was clean and in good repair. Looking forward to booking our next stay!”

”The property and the room was clean, the staff was friendly and responsive and the beach, fire pits, smore stations, pool, sauna and hot tub were awesome for the family. It looked like an early 80s build so some things aren't super modern but that didn't matter to us. We had a great time.”

”It was pretty positive. There were a lot of screaming kids, which was annoying. Breakfast ran out of a few things. But overall, it was very good.”

”Easy check in, great parking, nice clean room. Great pool and hot tub. Several fire pits with plentiful seating along the shoreline. On site restaurant was a bit pricey. No continental breakfast. Coffee not available in main lobby until 8 am - should be 6 am. Coffee maker in room made flavorless dark colored hot water. Yeah, I like my coffee early. Everything else about Larsmont Cottages was great.”

”Clean room, good breakfast, nice staff but they seemed a bit annoyed because I asked to check in 15 minutes before 3:00. We waited in the lobby and when I heard them checking someone in I went back and then was given a room.”

”Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, comfy beds, nice deck, fluffy towels. Cons: Only one elevator - on the end of the hotel instead of in the middle. Breakfast was crowded as they have a small galley kitchen with barely enough room to make a waffle. They were also out of some basic food items the entire three times we went there. In order to watch YouTube or Prime you need to connect to the hotel's internet. But it disconnected more than 20 times over two days. This was extremely frustrating....

”Cute little place on Lake Superior! The place was very clean and the staff was very kind & helpful. The hotel has a popcorn bar with fixings from 4-7pm in the lobby and smores in the evening out on the patio area, both were a great “free” perk! Only things that weren’t great was that the hot tub is pretty small (capacity of 5 people) and the balconies don’t have a lot of privacy. Otherwise a very nice stay!”

”The Stalyard Mansion was beautiful! Very quiet and relaxing in a lovely Duluth neighborhood.”

”We stayed in the Creekside Suite and it was sweet experience! The room was located on the second floor and it was nicely set up, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The windows and balcony had nice views. The coffee, muffins and fruit were lovely in the morning. The building was quiet and other guests we passed by in the common area were friendly. We would enjoy staying here again!”

”The property is a new apartment rental complex that’s renting out rooms until they’re all rented. Expensive. Did not receive a “lake view” even though we were the only overnight guests. Rooms are pretty but no usual hotel amenities…like a blow dryer. No shelf or holder in the shower so their provided shampoo/conditioner sit on the floor. No bedroom door (open to sitting area). No bathroom ventilation.”

”parking was fantastic. Room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was big. #5 is on the second floor. Nice view of the lift bridge and a nice view of Lake Superior from the small balcony. We did take a sauna.”
