Wonderful Place to Stay
I have been going to this property for years. The staff was very friendly, made me like it family. But every time I go to this hotel I get the flu the first night i am there but it doesn't help that the Air Con blows directly on you. The rooms need to be updated. But other than those 2 thing's the hotel is wounderful. Also they took away the free breakfast????

Looks like it use to be great. Now, rundown.
Photos of this location are deceiving. It looks like a clean, beautiful well maintained property and room until you actually see it. The room is not as big as it appears, it is musty, it looks rundown, and the furniture and drapes are old, rundown, and beat up. The balcony door barely closes and the wood is rotting on it. The washroom is not very inviting. The property is not well maintained, the common area's are dark. Unless this property goes through a major renovation/overhaul, I will not be staying here again.

Mix review
Had a room road side with one large bed and 2 bunk beds. Room was a bit noisy and in need of updating. Wires to TV were taped together. Small thing - can't flush toilet paper which take getting used to. The location looks great unfortunately we were on back end of a storm so could not take advantage of the ocean as too many waves. The other impact of storm was that there was trash / debris everywhere on the beach. Otherwise the service was great and hosts were very friendly. Probably worth the cost for the location. But not worth it if you can't benefit from the beach.

Not good enough, much less than my expectation.
My family(Parents & 2 kids) got a family room beside road that is quite nosy with many cars and bikes. and… they said no family room for seaside. however, It’s not true I think! and…the swimming pool condition was not good. But… the location is fantastic with Silver beach!

This resort is on a nice little beach that's not as well traveled as Lamai or Chaweng. It is still quite crowded during the day, but it's quieter than the bigger beaches. The water is clear and very shallow--you can't really swim so much as wade--and the floor is more rocky than sandy. They clean up the beach every morning, but there is still quite a lot of trash that accumulates throughout the day on the beach and in the water. There were also stray dogs wandering around at times, not bothering anybody but defecating on the beach. The rooms are pretty nice, nothing spectacular. Get a room with an ocean view, it's the best part of staying here. The restaurant is not bad. Breakfast is free in the morning and pretty good, the lunch and dinner menu is a little overpriced of course, but not ridiculous, and the food is pretty decent. The best part is, again, the incredible ocean views from the outdoor dining area. Most of the island's hot spots are not within walking distance

Stor skuffelse for min kone og jeg, Dette lille resort ligger klods op af kystvejen, hvilket giver en frygtelig støj. Fra 5.30 om morgenen kunne man slet ikke sove. Alt er selvfølgelig et spørgsmål om pris, men vi havde betalt ca. 900 dk. pr. overnatning med morgenmad, så det er ikke et hostel, og vores forventning var betydelig højere. Resortet ligger meget flot ud til en dejlig strand. Fantastisk udsigt fra vores terrasse. Vi havde bestilt Beach front. Værelset var pænt stort. Badeværelset var meget stort. Den generelle stand var skuffende. Ikke særlig hyggeligt eller Thai. Morgenmaden var ussel. Her er vi på hostel niveau. Ikke værd at spise, når man nu er på ferie. Resortet er nusset og bærer præg af, at gæstene er unge og i den meget billige ende. Kan ikke anbefales på nogen måde, da prisen slet ikke står mål med produktet. Vi forlod stedet efter 1 dag, selv om vi havde betalt for 7 dage. Æv.

Amazing secluded cove, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but still close enough to everything. Staff at the resort were lovely, made our stay one to remember. The views from our room were second to none. Our balcony was HUGE with comfortable sun chairs and umbrella. Room was very clean and well stocked.

I loved how nice the pool was even though it was a little small. The massages right on the property were also very nice. I didn’t like how in the picture for the room we purchased it shows how you can walk right on the beach from your room which is not true.

l'hôtel est situé dans un cadre paradisiaque et conforme aux photographies du site. le personnel est compètent et très souriant. le petit déjeuner correct. rien a redire sur l'établissement en général. Deux petit bémol : situé sur le bord de la route, donc les chambres attenantes, soumis aux bruits de la circulation, mais rien de bien gênant; l'hôtel manque un peu de rafraichissement. voilà, très bon souvenirs de notre séjour.

Vanuit de beachfront deluxe kamers is het uitzicht adembenemend. Je stapt zo het strand op. Het hotel zelf is zwaar gedateerd en heeft achterstallig onderhoud. Als ik de reviews terug lees van enkele jaren geleden wordt er niets gedaan met de feedback. De eigenaren lijken er weinig zin in te hebben; dit hotel wordt, vanwege de ligging, toch wel geboekt. Jammer hoor, want het heeft een enorme potentie. Het personeel is ook een dingetje; de receptiedames zijn vriendelijk en spreken prima Engels. De ontbijtdames zijn onvriendelijk en brutaal en spreken geen Engels. Terwijl je zo denken dat een "goodmorning"toch zou moeten lukken. Deze dames zouden niet in de hospitality werkzaam moeten zijn, totaal ongeschikt. Conclusie: ondanks het uitzicht voor mij de volgende keer geen Crystal Bay.. .

The best is the location.
The location is amazing if you want quiet. The resort could do with improvement. The breakfast is disgusting and the restaurant is also not for me. The rooms could be updated. The noise from the streets (cars ) you hear all the way to the room which leaves the rooms noisy 24/7. What a pity or you could hear the waves crashing.
