”This hotel is overpriced. On the plus side, the room was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was nice and any sound from there did not make it to our room, three doors down. Negatives are no cleaning unless you request it, and the sign that was supposed to be in the room to that effect was missing. Breakfast was only fair for the room price. Just above continental with eggs and biscuits and gravy (not even any bacon). I would not stay here again unless the room rate drops significantly.”

”Very clean and well maintained. Located right next to the Toy Farm Museum! Room was very spacious.”

”What a great historic, charming cottage! We were able to spread out as a family of 4, enjoy common areas together and truly be comfortable. We were attending a wedding at the Waucoma Event Center, and enjoyed the close proximity. A great touch was the amount of coffee pods and having paper to go cups. As a coffee drinker who almost always has a to go cup, it was nice to not have to bring one, or buy one. We loved thiss VRBO and if we find our way back to NE Iowa, we would happily stay again.”

”Room smelled very musty being it was in the basement and dehumidifier’s were full. I recommend them in the rooms if you’re renting them out. We would stay there again just in different room.”

”Well lit parking area. Breakfast was good. Room needed some cleaning when we arrived and staff took care of it as soon as we alerted them to the situation (beds were nicely made but room floor needed vacuuming and bathroom floor needed cleaning). Staff was quick to respond and resolve the problems!”
