”Brought the family up for a trip to Voyageurs National Park and didn't want to completely break the bank on a room to sleep. The Hilltop was convenient located right on the main drag of IF, check in was super easy, as was check out. Brandy was readily available if needed during our stay although we didn't need anything. The room was as described. They aren't newly renovated or high end, but they serve their purpose, good size, clean, quiet. Definitely worth the price!”

”Tettegouche Lodge is a wonderful house, perfect for our three generations to gather for a week. Plenty of room - large well-equipped kitchen, plenty of dining space, two living rooms, lovely bedrooms, a screened in porch, an outdoor deck, and balconies outside of the upper bedrooms, overlooking the Baptism River. The owners were very responsive to the few needs we had. This was year 45 of our summer family vacations and Tettegouche rates among the top places.”

”Lovely remote lodge in beautiful area. The room is small, but well appointed. You will lose cell seevice on the gorgeous Gunflint Trail, so make sure you have saved your check in instructions beforehand. Note that many lodges on the trail have restaurants, but not this one, so bring food with you before you arrive. They are last on the trail except a campground, so once you’re here, you’ll need to have everything. I came thinking I might get to see the Milky Way since it’s so remote, but there...
