”The lovely lady that checked me in was so friendly and helpful even though it was her very first day at the front desk. The building is dated on the outside; but the room itself was surprisingly well equipped! It was comfortable and spacious and the little details were appreciated, especially the double sink! This is one of the very few places I've stayed in my frequent travels where I heard not a PEEP from a neighbor or from animals, or road noisr .....not even from the trains which are just...

”Room was clean and nice accommodations staff on the other word was not so great from desk shut our keys off before checkout time after going to the restaurant connecting to motel for breakfast and was asked to pay an extra night o get back in to get our belongings refused to pay and finally got our belongings back after half hour arguing with them ”

Was informed the hotels Wi-Fi and cable we not functioning (later learned it had been down for several days and they had no idea when it would be functional again. ”Our room smelled like musty cigarettes - to the point where not just our clothes smelled like it, but all of our belongings. The bathtub hadn't been cleaned in weeks. We had to call the front desk the first morning because we tried to take a shower and the drain was plugged with hair and other garbage. Maintenance did come up quickly to fix it. Parking was terrible. No elevator to the second floor. I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. ”

”Had yo change my room 7 times. Room was either dirty, TV did not work, heater didn't work and the worst bed smelled like pee. Never ever again, the owner needs to step it up or close this place down! And also treat your employees better. I love the property in Deadwood that I give 5 stars this place, please avoid. ”

”We were assigned a room with a roll in shower designed for the disabled and it was difficult to use for the able bodied. The shower apparently hadn't been used in awhile and had an unpleasant smell until water was run down the drain. Also, there were no shelves or counters in the bathroom to place items and soap was limited to one small bar. Other than that , the room and motel was very clean and the bed and pillows comfortable.”

”Arrives after a 6 hour drive. Just wanted to test. They had construction going on just a couple rooms down from ours. The drill sounded like it was next to my head - it was horrible. Next morning - no hot water in the shower. Room was dirty - corners of bathroom/shower still had dirt and hair. Mattresses were worn and sunken in - very. ”
