”We can't understand how this hotel has a 5 star rating. We travel several weeks a year around the world and I've relied on reviews until now, but... The main pool is full of screaming children, so if you're an adult without children, it's not for you. The adult pool was small and secluded with no amenities. The only restaurant in the hotel is a bar by the main pool, which honestly can't be called a restaurant. The "Deluxe studios" are in separate 3-story buildings with dingy and untidy hallways....

”Absolutely loved our 5 night stay at Koa Kea! It is such a lovely, small resort. Right on the ocean, just a few short steps to beautiful beaches with sea turtles, monk seals, great snorkeling and surfing. The resort staff was very friendly and so helpful!”

”We really enjoyed our stay in the in-law unit at this house in Poipu, even though we had assumed we had the place to ourselves. The neighborhood location was perfect (walking distance to multiple beaches & restaurants, as well as a pool) and the bed was comfortable. It’s very affordable for the area and the extra items (towels, beach chairs, umbrella, random snorkel gear) were super handy. It was easy to communicate with our host and he was very flexible on timing.”

”Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was great, and the unit was comfortable. The only downside was the refrigerator. The temporary fridge was quite small, and we were told it would be replaced. However, during our stay, no one contacted us or arranged for the replacement. We wish the management had addressed the refrigerator issue sooner, as it would have made our stay even more enjoyable. Other than that, we had a wonderful experienced.”

”We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. ”Best thing about this place is location. Very close to beach and strip mall right across from this resort property. Few things which were disappointing was the noise from the wild chickens that wander the property. They started making noise every morning at round 3AM. They are loud and I had to put on my noise cancellation headphones to get back to sleep.
