”Shehan and Shri run this awesome guesthouse, and they are fantastic! They are wonderfully kind and thoughtful. They have extensive international hospitality experience, and they helped me arrange top-notch transport from Colombo, around Anurhadapura, and a dream tour around the ancient cities—all very last-minute. ”Very nice hotel in the center of Anuradhapura. The room was really clean and comfortable, the pool was great, the food was excellent (we recommend to take the diner at the hotel) and the manager was extremely kind, helping us organize our visit to the city with a wonderful guide for a very honest price. Some comments mentioned noise from the street, but we were not disturbed at all during our stay. One recommendation: add a mosquito net, since mosquitos in Anuradhapura seemed quite aggressive”

”Great stay! Stayed 1 night. Very personalized service. The manager greets and checks in with each guest several times throughout the start as needed. Sri Lankan breakfast was great! Pool very nice. Was able to arrange a tuktuk transfer to several of the archaeological and religious sites within Anuradhapura for 5000 rupees (3-4 hours tour). Highly recommend!”

”First - this is a camp with tents so you cannot expect hotel level amenities. Unless you have been camping before it may be dirty and discusting. If you have been camping you probably will find this quite luxurious, clean and working. The tents are relatively big and have working toilets and showers. They are clean - considering they are in a "jungle" or at least in rural woods. We had a few scorpions (tiny) and lizards accompanying us, but they are not dangerous. The staff was really friendly...

”We are a family of five with three adult daughters and we very much enjoyed our stay. I can summarise by saying we were happy with everything and everyone there, and the location is a good base for visiting Anuradhupura. Nilketha has a very nice ambience with two large areas for relaxing. Rooms were very clean with air-conditioning and fans. The pool is very nice and refreshing after a long day and our three daughters felt comfortable in their bathers - unlike some places. Great sunset...
