”We went to once-in-a-lifetime trip to Hawaii and we chose this place. The views, pools and the wild life are amazing but; here is only one place to get breakfest (sandwich 20$!!), coffeeplaces closes at 11am (coffee 8$ and croissant 15$), places to eat are too expensive (pasta and meatballs 50$). Luckily there is marketplace near by (15min walk or shuttle bus 5$)and the rooms have small fridge. We didnt know the resortfee which was high! But I have to say that this Hilton area felt very safe and...

”Our stay here was incredible. The rooms here are clean & extremely comfortable. The Beach was easy to get a chair and the bar service was great. It is a little ways away from extra shops / restaurants, so would suggest renting a vehicle or taking an uber. The workers on the Gold floor made our stay welcoming and were super helpful. Overall the views are amazing & id recommend to anyone to stay here.”

”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...

”Beds were full sized, not 2 queens. Everything well kept. Marriott situated in a compact community campus with private condos, private golf course, gas station a couple small shopping centers, super market. Beyond that is the ocean and lava. So have to drive outside of this. Marriott accommodating for pool-side loungers, snorkeling ”

”Very nice property. Excellent location - close to beautiful white sand beaches, close to shopping & dining. Nice BF. Waterfalls at the resort can be noisy at night if you enjoy sleeping with your balcony door open, and have a resort/pool/part sea view room. ”

”Enjoyed our weeklong stay at Kohala. Beautifully appointed room overlooking a manicured golf course. Location is great for the many tours around the island. And the convenience of having the shopping centers in the same campus offers many dining and shopping options. We look forward to being back.”

”Well-appointed unit in the Kona Islander Inn. Close to beaches, shopping, restaurants. Complex has a nice swimming pool and BBQ area. The unit was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for an awesome stay!”
