”Stayed here for a quick trip with my husband and loved the location and how close it is to Japantown eateries. The hotel is beautiful and nicely appointed. The lobby has plenty of seating if you’d like to hang out and in the morning have coffee and tea. Our room was spacious, clean, and very modern. We had a soaking tub in our bathroom which was a nice touch. We were able to walk to dinner and our concert at The Fillmore easily. ”I had issues (twice...) with the codes not working when trying to enter my room which made me feel unsafe especially when this happened midnight. Reception is not open after 10pm so I received help via Whatsapp and staff was helpful. Other things that lower my rating were the metal beds that made a lot of noise. Also the whole floor only had 2 showers working. I have never had to wait to shower in hostel before. I wish toilets had more hooks to put towels/clothes in and rooms had mirrors....

”We got corner room on 18th floor with great view towards the bay. I warmly recommend to pay some extra for that! Room was in great condition and clean. Bed was perfect with two set of pillows (soft & firm). Location was good, Nob hill cable car end station is just around the corner. However, for people in good condition it takes approx 30-40 minutes to walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. We were very happy to our two nights staying in this hotel.”
