Hiking in the lower altitudes of the Atlas Mountains is gorgeous. Zipping through almost ten Berber villages in a few hours, you truly are able to see how the local people live in each of their villages. Chickens are running around, kids playing football, and the women are socialising amongst themselves. It's always comforting to know that there are still parts of the world that do not require much technology to maintain healthy social relationships between people.
Venturing out into mountains, valleys and desert of Morocco was one of the most exciting trips we've taken. The Dadés Valley east of Marrakech features incredible gorges and smooth roads with hair pin turns like this one on Route 704. We had a guide bring us to this lookout point in Tisdrine after staying the evening nearby at Hôtel Babylon Dadés. #InStone #Morocco #scenicdrive #gorges
