But this is a very basic accommodation, and the bathroom was in need of some repair. The owner and family were very helpful and accommodating, and in general the people in this area are very nice. This is a great location for views of Mt Kinabalu, and for local hikes, and also for visiting the Desa Dairy Farm.”

”This hotel is very conveniently located in the city center. It close to the waterfront, Gaya street Friday and Saturday night and Sunday markets, convenient stores, laundry, and restaurants. The rooms are clean, and the staff is just awesome! The staff is very responsive, gave great city, food, and travel recommendations, and were accommodating. For the price, location, and friendliness of the staff, you cant go wrong staying here!”

”Need to improve on the cleanliness of the kitchen. Inspect the kitchen utensils, the water filter is leaking, the dish soup is non-existent, the drying rack left in the kitchen cupboard to house insects, the living room sofa leather was teared apart. The amenities advertised includes water bottles, but when asked for it from the staff on site, it’s not provided as complimentary. The bedroom door cannot be locked for some room, there’s stain on every bed and bedsheets. Overall the 3 bedroom...

”He (enkä minä) eivät olleet aluksi oikein selvillä millaisen huoneen olin varannut ja huoneen hakemiseen meni hieman aikaa aluksi, pelkällä nimellä se ei löytynyt. Muuten kaikki meni hyvin ja henkilökunta oli avuliasta. Lähtöni oli niin aikaisin, että en ehtinyt aamiaista nauttimaan. Kokonaisuudessaan hyvä kokemus. Hiljainen hostelli, ei ihan ytimessä, mutta ei kuitenkaan liian kaukana palveluista tai aktiviteeteista. ”

”Very basic but excellent location v near NP entrance, and kind hosts. Wifi was pretty good when switched on. Restaurant opposite park entrance offered breakfast from 6.30. My room was rather tired with barely functioning plumbing, but perfectly adequate considering the location benefit.”

”Pas de réception. Heureusement que je suis tombé par hasard (c était minuit) sur d’autres clients de l’hôtel pour qu’ils contactent le manager afin de me donner le code de la boîte aux lettres qui contenait la clé de ma chambre. Hotels.com ne donne pas le numéro de téléphone pour obtenir les codes pour récupérer les clés…. Ma chambre donnait sur un bar discothèque donc point de vue tranquillité on repassera!”

”The holiday home is located in the hill. It is quite spacious and reasonably maintained. However as it is in the hill insects are an inevitable sight (ants, mosquitoes, etc.) esp in open areas, but it's tolerable inside the house. Service was good, as a large group we really enjoyed ourselves gathering in the living room area. However, it's relatively inaccessible (taking taxi from town centre to the holiday home costs around RM15-25, and a lot of taxi drivers do not know the place so I'd...

”Aluksi oli vähän epäselvää miten avaimet saadaan, kun ohjeissa oli, että ohjeet tulee sähköpostiin. Tallensin puhelinnumeron ja sain wappin kautta näppärästi yhteyden ja ohjeet. Avaimet sai avainboxista sisääntuloaulasta. Huoneisto oli ihanan iso, vähän kulahtanut mutta äkkiä tuntui jo kodikkaalta. Mahtavan kokoinen uima-allas 6.kerroksessa ja illalla upea tunnelma 4. kerroksen altaalta kauounkia katsellen. Puutarha ympärillä! Samassa talossa oli hieno iso ostoskeskus missä oli iso supermarket...
