”Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend”

”Amazing place near Nuwara Eliya. Beautiful view, which you can watch even from bath. Host is very friendly and helpful, even gave us a little gift when we left. The place was little hard to find so it might help if there would be a sign from the crossroad. Wi-Fi didn’t work properly, but it’s quite common in Sri Lanka.”

It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. ”Stepping back ti colonial times splendeaur is what you get in Grand Hotel. Returnef here after mire than three decades and again the service and room standard was as goud as one can expect. Buffed dinner was one if the best we have had on the island. Also had great time in the classic bar and a round of snooker with resident coach was most fun.”
