It is a convenient location in puching to eateries. The renovations of the restaurants definitely made the stay a bit uncomfortable with the smells of paint seeping through the lobby and even all the way in higher levels. We saw one baby cockroach, which i killed. But i guess that is normal in malaysia.
The gym was also renovations. The pool was opened but somehow that floor where the pool is located smell bad. I feel like if there are renovations going on, then the hotel fees should be discounted.
Everyone is courteous but i think sheraton chinatown has a little better service. They are more efficient in checking in and easy to call for services. The chinatown branches used glass bottles for the water instead of plastic bottles, which i thought perhaps are more sustainable? I feel like being the same brand, perhaps the overall service should be the same?
Overall, it is a good hotel.
