”Pros: The place is good and very well situated. Staff is friendly and the food is very good. It has a swimming pool which gives infinite view outlooking to the lake on one side and mountains on the other side. Cons: wifi speed is slow however the hotel staff informed that bsnl is the only vendor in the area for broadband. Hotel is situated at some height from the road and ramo up to the hotel is very very steep and hotel management should look towards it.”

”This is not a five star hotel. In fact, it's barely a three star. It is far from the fort and up a long, bumpy road so when you arrive, you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. The staff earnestly tries to be helpful but they're clueless, slow and inefficient. I ordered a gin and tonic at lunch time and it came after I had finished my meal. The hotel exterior is pretty and the rooms are large. That said, there are no amenities besides a tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner. The soap...

”I spent 2 nights with my son at the wild retreat. Our room was very spacious and clean with plenty of toiletries. We also had a great balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend 😃”

”Absolute perfect stay for two nights and we wished if we could extend our stay. We visited in mid august. All cottages are facing mountains and since it was monsoon those were lush green. Absolute bliss to watch!! Felt as if we r in europe! Must visit in monsoons or immediate post monsoon. Right from room, service, food, everything spotless!! Its cheaper to have ala carte instead of buffet if dinner not part of booking. Bt must eat at resort as food quality is very high.”
