”A hidden gem. The food at the roof top cafe/bar is amazing - breakfast, lunch and dinner all 10/10. Lovely atmosphere. Rooms are great, slightly basic but you don’t need anymore than you have. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back. ”

”The cheapest room is really noisy, as it is right next to the road. The road is really busy, even through the night, and I don't think anyone could sleep through that noise level without earplugs. The hotel did not have any earplugs, so bring your own, if you are staying in a room next to the road. After spending one sleepless night in this room, the hotel offered to move us to another hotel, or move to a more expensive room with additional costs. ”The Jaga Bay resort is a good place to stay. Spacious rooms with king size beds (with mosquito nets) and helpfull staff. The hotel is being renovated so some of it looks like construction site. The restaurant is good and the breakfast buffet was good too. The location is quiet and far away from the town so you have to take tuktuk everytime you want to go some where else to eat or do shopping. There were many stray dogs at the hotel area and the beach. There are two separate bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen with a gas burner, refrigerator,dishes and pans, small dining room, patio with a day bed, washing machine. Bedrooms have a/c. Other rooms with ceiling fans. WiFi worked well. Host provided laundry detergent, shampoo, sun screen and mosquito repellent. He also provided us with some great meals. ”My stay at this hostel was fantastic! Highly recommend. I booked a private room and it was perfectly spotless, felt quite clean, was well designed and felt like a boutique hotel. The front desk service was great, and easy to ask questions regarding train times through WhatsApp, and they even accommodated check out an hour earlier so I could do a morning surf lesson and wash up without rushing.
