”Hotel is nice but not luxury 5* hotel. Service is very good and prices are affordable. Only big resort hotel in Weligama and from walking distance to everywhere in Weligama. Beach is nice and good restaurants nearby. Breakfast is buffee type and hotel has one ala carte sea food restaurant. We didn’t try buffee dinner.

Hiru who runs the place is helpful and a nice guy. As was his father who offers a taxi service via a car or a tuktuk.
The food in the rooftop bar was lovely. Particularly the breakfast which is included in the price of the hotel.

”Polite employees, however management should fix a few topics listed below:
1. Toaster - get a decent toaster to your breakfast area. It's is annoying to ask for toasted bread separately from the staff
2. Move the breakfast closer to the pool area. Everyone want's to sit there and grabbing the food next to reception is frustrating
3. Buy a proper coffee machine. Guests can take themselves an espresso, latter or cappucino in the morning.
4. Offer high quality tea + boiling water for the guests...

”The Jaga Bay resort is a good place to stay. Spacious rooms with king size beds (with mosquito nets) and helpfull staff. The hotel is being renovated so some of it looks like construction site. The restaurant is good and the breakfast buffet was good too. The location is quiet and far away from the town so you have to take tuktuk everytime you want to go some where else to eat or do shopping. There were many stray dogs at the hotel area and the beach. This was little bit annoying and some times...
