”Frühstück einfallslos. Eierspeisen wurden bei unserem 6 tägigen Aufenthalt immer kalt gebracht. Wasser wurde nie nachgefüllt. Außerdem sehr hellhörig.”

”Polite employees, however management should fix a few topics listed below: 1. Toaster - get a decent toaster to your breakfast area. It's is annoying to ask for toasted bread separately from the staff 2. Move the breakfast closer to the pool area. Everyone want's to sit there and grabbing the food next to reception is frustrating 3. Buy a proper coffee machine. Guests can take themselves an espresso, latter or cappucino in the morning. 4. Offer high quality tea + boiling water for the guests...

”The cheapest room is really noisy, as it is right next to the road. The road is really busy, even through the night, and I don't think anyone could sleep through that noise level without earplugs. The hotel did not have any earplugs, so bring your own, if you are staying in a room next to the road. After spending one sleepless night in this room, the hotel offered to move us to another hotel, or move to a more expensive room with additional costs. We decided to stay, but don't know if I would...

”The Jaga Bay resort is a good place to stay. Spacious rooms with king size beds (with mosquito nets) and helpfull staff. The hotel is being renovated so some of it looks like construction site. The restaurant is good and the breakfast buffet was good too. The location is quiet and far away from the town so you have to take tuktuk everytime you want to go some where else to eat or do shopping. There were many stray dogs at the hotel area and the beach. This was little bit annoying and some times...

”Very clean rooms, even under the bed and behind the desk.. Good breakfast served right to your own balcony or terrace.. Nice family running the hotel. Always hot water and during our stay I guess they improved the wifi as it started to work out perfectly for the last days. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. ”

”The staff were intoxicated already in the morning and the service did not even exist. They say they are available in Whatsapp 24h but it took them 12 hours to read a message. The staff was partying downstairs with their friends and music was very loud (could not sleep without earplugs). Laundry washing took more than one day, what they first promised. No warm water in the shower and the room was dirty. The only good thing about the place was location. ”

”The Moose is such a special place! The host Ashan is a wonderful man. I felt so welcomed and safe and taken care of my whole stay. Room was big, immaculately clean, hot shower. Owner was also always on hand for questions and helped out with taxis etc. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Was sad to leave. ”

”My partner and I had a lovely stay here. It’s family-run, and the owner is very welcoming, helpful, and always available. The place was quiet, and both the room and bathroom were very clean. The air conditioning worked well, and we were given extra blankets when we asked. Breakfast was included and prepared at a time that suited us. One day we had Sri Lankan pancakes, and the next day an omelette and sandwich. He also accommodated my partner who is vegetarian. We’ve stayed at several hotels...
