”The staff were super helpful, fun and friendly. The hotel felt clean and like you were in a secluded resort. The food did not sit well with most of my group the entirety of the trip although there was a large menu and seemed clean and prepared well. Happy hour everyday with free snacks and drinks was a nice touch! ”

”The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and we never felt otherwise during our stay. The building itself is a bit worn and has more of a hostel-style feel. While that may work well for some travelers, we were personally hoping for more of a bed-and-breakfast atmosphere”

”We were really disappointed with our stay. Staff were very unhelpful. Hallways not clean. Given a room with a view of garbage cans and gas tanks. Another guest arrived on a red eye at 10 am and was told her room would not be ready until 2pm! Far from airport. Very limited ameneties, not even conditioner or enough towels. Will not stay here again ”

”Perfect base for visiting the Poas Volcano and other sights in the area. From the hotel you can see the volcano so no guessing the weather and it's just a short ride to the national park. The hotel and rooms are modern and cozy, nice sofas with small fireplace to enjoy in the lobby area. Good restaurant.”

”Always an excellent choice when we have to stay the night in san jose. The steakhiuse isbawesome. Breakfast is included and lovely. Rooms are beautiful.”

”Staff was friendly! The AC worked great. The complimentary breakfast was not bad. Their water, orange juice and coffee tasted great. The rest Taxi is not $4 like the hotel stated from the airport to here. It’s $10 or more, I got them to bring it down to $10. My friend said the same thing when she came from the airport to here as well. They told her $10…for less than 5 min away which is a ripoff. ”
