”It rains quite often, so there is always water in the waterfalls, which are quite magnificent. You can handfeed toucans and hummingbirds in the park. In the hotel room's balcony there is a hummingbird feeder so that you can watch them very close. The tour to volcano Poas was a disappointment. The staff advised us to reserve the tour on a previous day, when you have no idea about the weather in the mountain. We didn't see anything there.”

”Absolutely amazing hotel , very clean and beautiful. It’s so peaceful there . Food was the best I’ve had in Costa Rica - and we’ve tried a lot , but nothing beats the taste and quality of their meals . Stuff goes above and beyond to assist everyone with all needs and requests. I would love to be back there one day and highly recommend it to anyone.”

”Magnifique hébergement avec un personnel aux petits soins. Confort, et grand luxe!! Par contre, la nourriture est beaucoup trop chère pour la qualité proposée qui n’est pas, à mon avis, à la hauteur d’un deux clés Michelin… en commençant par le café. Décevant pour un pays qui produit du café si merveilleux! L’hôtel aurait tout avantage à former ses employés à la méthode des baristas et offrir de vrais cafés de spécialités. Et payer des soupes du jour très ordinaires, à 15$ USD du bol, c’est...

”I asked three times over three days for them to come and fix the air conditioner which did not work. Each day they said they would come and it never got better. It was so hot in my room while I was trying to sleep. This is the first time I am writing something like this about a hotel. I will not stay at the Intercontinental or any International ever again because of this. It was very frustrating!!!”
