âHeti alkuun on todettava, ettĂ€ hotellin kaikki toiminnot oli mietitty loppuun saakka ja henkilökunnan palvelualttius oli loistavaa tasoa. All in clusive paketilla oli saatavilla hyvin monipuoliset juoma- ja ruokatarjoilut.
Uima-allas ja viheralueet olivat todella hyvin hoidetut. Yksi uima-altaista oli varattu pelkÀstÀÀn aikuisille, mutta muissa altaissa ei ollut rajoituksia. Tarjoilijat kiersivÀt kyselemÀssÀ allasalueilla, onko tarvetta juomille, joten palvelu oli ensiluokkaista.

âThis property really is the perfect hotel. The staff, the food, the view itâs all just lovely. The only negative me and my partner could find was the lack of vegetarian options on the restaurants menus. Staying in other hotels of this this standard they would look to make items off the menu as a vegetarian dish, this wasnât offered. â
âSievĂ€ pieni hotelli suht kĂ€tevĂ€n bussi/kĂ€velymatkan pÀÀssĂ€ Grand BaystĂ€. Odotimme kuitenkin hiukan enemmĂ€n hyvien arvostelujen ja hinnan perusteella. Henkilökunta oli ystĂ€vĂ€llistĂ€ ja aamiainen oli hyvĂ€ (tosin tarjoiluja sai hieman odotella). Parvekkeellinen huone oli ok ja siisti, mutta ilmastointilaite melko ÀÀnekĂ€s ja suihkusta oli hankala saada sopivan lĂ€mpöistĂ€ vettĂ€ tulemaan. Hotellin oma illallinen oli herkullinen, vaikkakin kallein mitĂ€ saarella söimme. Rannalle on jonkin verran...

âA new, clean hotel and a great pool area. Walk 10-15 minutes on to beach. Bus to Grand Baie 18-24 MUR, express bus better to Port Louis 40 MUR, cheap. Taxi to Grand Baie about 300 MUR. Breakfast is modest and reception open only during the day. Wifi connection is good. But, great place!â

"We were quite dissappointed in our stay at LUX. Based on their marketing, we were expecting top-notch service and lots of activities. The reality was not that glamorous. For example, during our 5-day stay, there was only 1 outdoor movie and no indoor movies for adults. We received our room 3 hours late because of maintenance issues (AC and phone not working). It smelled very strongly of paint (they were painting the room next door) but when asked, we could not switch the room because of that. There were also a lot of problems during checkout and the communication between different LUX employees was really bad (someone promised a late checkout, the other called that we need to leave the room early, we were charged too much, etc.). On a positive note, the food at the hotel restaurants was good and there was always room in the multiple pools and beaches. However, be aware that even with dinner included, drinks will be charged. A carafe of water costs 5âŹ, which is quite a lot considering you can't really avoid drinking it. A small coke is 6âŹ, which also seems too steep. There are no stores close by. We would not recommend this hotel as you can find a lot better options at Mauritius even with lower budget."
