Relax House is an ideal place to rest and enjoy surrounded by nature and spectacular views.
We have a pool with children's play area, BBQ ranch, terrace, balcony, jacuzzi, mini bar and gardens visited by tropical birds and views of the spectacular Arenal Volcano, all surrounded by peace and tranquility in harmony with nature.
Our facilities are located in a private condominium, with a security guard and restricted access with a remote opening gate. Also we have private spot inside the property for parking 1-2 cars.

(Un lugar ideal para descanso y disfrute rodeado de naturaleza y espectaculares vistas.
Contamos con Piscina con área de juegos para niños, rancho BBQ, terraza, balcón, jacuzzi, mini bar y jardines visitados por aves tropicales y con vistas al espectacular Volcán Arenal, todo esto rodeado de paz y tranquilidad en armonía con la naturaleza.

Nuestras instalaciones se encuentran en un condominio privado, con guarda de seguridad y acceso restringido con portón de apertura remota. También contamos con espacio privado dentro de la propiedad para parquear 1-2 Vehiculos!)

Given that the price was fairly low this place was probably as I should have expected. The hot tub is not a typical hot tub as it contains no water and you need to fill it yourself. We did not use it as it felt like a bathtub vs a clean hot tub. The house is very small and felt quite old. The community pool was very small and also not in great shape. The property was beautiful but a good 15 minute drive to go most places. The owner communicated well and everything we needed was there.

As a family of 4, we had plenty of space to spread out and really enjoyed the private hot tub, and the community pool (which we had to ourselves most of the time). It served as a nice, quiet place to base our adventures, and even though it was out of town a little ways, we enjoyed and appreciated the quiet….and we found some smaller, close by places to eat that were nice little gems. The only aspect we would improve is the lingering smell from the bathroom areas (which improved with windows open and fan blowing).

Wonderful house. The communication with the property owner is excellent and timely. The yard is a small paradise for spending time outdoors with family, bird watching, cooking, and relaxing. Secure gated entrance to the community gave a sense of safety Parking within the property was appreciated. The family gathering area is in a wonderful covered area nestled between the downstairs bedroom and inside kitchen, and the stairs to the upstairs bedroom. The upstairs has a magnificent balcony to relax and watch the wildlife. Our family really enjoyed this property because of the natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.

The host was very good with communication and gave very detailed instructions for checking in. The community is very nice and safe. It’s about 20 mins from all the restaurants and shops in La Fortuna. We really appreciated the air conditioning units in each room. The water pressure in the shower is very nice. Great views of the volcano. If you wake up early you can watch lots of birds. The outdoor area is very good for entertaining. We will be coming back and plan a longer stay next time!

Lovely place for us! Host was super helpful and quick to respond. Hot tub was a lovely addition after a long day of hiking. Condo was safe and cozy. Loved to roll up door to open up the kitchen! Fortuna was a quick drive away and had everything we needed. Close to interest spots like a Cocoa Tour and zip line excursion. Would stay there again! Should have stayed longer.

Cute place! Exactly what we needed. Very small kitchen if you’re thinking you want to cook…we didn’t use the outside grill but the space out there is awesome! Didn’t have much at all for hot water for a shower… but it was refreshing. Perfect little space away from all the chaos of the city. We stayed two nights and that was perfect for our needs. A place to rest our heads as we explored all day. Felt safe in the gated community!

The name of this property holds up to its name! My stay was perfect as I used it for a retreat, taking advantage of the many views of the volcán on a clear day and the serene garden. About 15 mins from La Fortuna centro, you will find this place down a gravel road. It is in a quiet gated community and a store nearby. The outdoor area is spacious and wonderful for entertaining. I also found it quite peaceful to walk down to the river!! The space was very clean. The kitchen had everything I needed including containers for leftover food, coffee, salt and pepper. The bedroom came equipped with hangers, hair dryer, and iron. The only feedback to give is that the floor as it can be very slippery when raining so be cautious!

On our own, we were havinga hard time finding the property. Once we connwcted with Kaylor, it was easy breezy. Property was super. Private with rooms up and down, nice kitchen 2.5 baths and great outside dining. We really enjoyed having the use of the hot tub. Came in extra handy after a Waterfall hike. Grounds we well maintains with assortment if flowers and bushes. Thanks Kaylor, we'll be back!!!!

Everything was great. By far the best host I’ve dealt with. Was given very detailed instructions upon checking in. Literally had no questions from start to finish. The house was close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away to be away from the hustle and bustle. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay.

All the check-in information worked. Just would have liked it a couple days sooner as our phone batteries were drained from our day of driving. Kitchen had all that was needed. Loved the outdoor eating area and sky chairs to lounge in. The room was comfortable. The host was immensely helpful and kind!
