Serenity-talo on rakennettu 2 hehtaarin syvyyteen sademetsän sydämessä, hyvin yksityisellä paikalla kaukana kaupungin melusta, mutta lähellä joitakin parhaimmista nähtävyyksistä ja ravintoloista, joita El Castillo tarjoaa. Upea äärettömän reunan uima-allas on täynnä raikasta lähdevettä, ja se on täydellinen virkistämiseen kun kuuntelet Howlers-apinoita, katsotte Toucania, Hummingbirdsiä ja 20 muuta lintulajia, jotka ympäröivät taloa. Luo Serenityllä muistoja, jotka aarteet ikuisesti.

Talo on iso ja tilava. Kauniit sisustus paikallisilta taiteilijoilta ja ainutlaatuiset alkuperäiskansojen patsaat sijaitsevat kiinteistön ympärillä.
Yhdistelmä todella korkeita kattoja ja sijainti kukkulan reunalla jatkuvan tuulen vuoksi ei edellytä ilmastointia talossa. Lisäksi kaikissa huoneissa on kattotuuletin ja liukuovet ja ikkunat on varustettu näytöillä, joten voit jättää ne täydellisesti auki, jotta tuulet päästävät huolta taloon tulevista hyönteisistä. Kaikissa 3 makuuhuoneessa on oma kylpyhuone, jotta ryhmällesi he haluavat yksityisyyden.
Täysin varustetussa keittiössämme voit ilahduttaa perhettäsi energistävällä aamiaisella päivän aloittamiseksi tai herkullisella illallisella sulkemaan ikimuistoisen päivän tutustumaan sademetsään. Illallisen jälkeen voit istua ja jakaa muistoja viihtyisässä olohuoneessamme kaikkien nostettavien nahkasohvien ja sohvien kanssa.

Amazing rainforest escape

This property is absolutely beautiful and everything you see in the pictures. The views are incredible, the bird watching from the porch provides hours of enjoyment, and the accommodations are very comfortable. Our family enjoyed the pool and leaving all the sliding doors open to feel the cool breezes of El Castillo. Even though it is listed in the description, I did not realize the property didn't have air conditioning and was initially concerned, having just come from the coast where it was very warm. But El Castillo is much more temperate and the breezes keep everything very comfortable in the house. The need of a four wheel drive vehicle is absolutely necessary as the road leading up to the house is steep and very rocky. There are many wonderful restaurants close by. No service stations and only a small market, so plan accordingly. Close to the volcano, zip lining, and the La Fortuna waterfall. Would definitely recommend!

Fantasyland in Costa Rica

We decided to come to Costa Rica rather than Hilton Head for a short vacation. When I booked this property, I did not pay quite enough attention to the description of the driveway, which was rather rough. However, we did get our minivan front wheel drive up the road, although it was a little scary at time. The property was beautiful and the setting was mystical. A volcano off your shoulder on one side and a beautiful lake in front. My adult daughter and son-in-law and two granddaughters ages eight and 10 had a fantastic time. We really enjoyed the little restaurant just a little walk away.Overall, I would definitely do this again. It was absolutely beautiful clean and very comfortable. Ron Sloan.

Truly Serenity!!!

The property was absolutely amazing. The landscaping and flora was spectacular. The pool was perfect for the boys. Last but not least the view was unreal! My wife and I needed a break from reality and this place provided that. The locals in El Castillo were all so helpful and such a beautiful people. If we ever get back to Costa Rica we will definitely be visiting Serenity again. Plenty of space, beautiful home, and amenities for cooking.

Volcano and Lake view with constant wildlife

Incredible setting and a very nice place. The view of Lake Arenal and volcano are truly wonderful especially since they are constantly accented by hummingbirds, toucan's, tanagers and countless other colorful critters. It was nice having restaurants and shops close by.attractions is wonder

Beautiful views!

This was a great spot for viewing the volcano, hiking La Fortuna Falls and going to Sky Adventures. The local restaurants made delicious food and everyone was kind, friendly and helpful!

Amazing

Serenity house did not disappoint! The views are outstanding and we spent hours on the back porch watching all the birds. Bring binoculars! Augustine was very helpful and always responded quickly to any questions we had. We loved every minute there and we were sad to go. Thank you Serenity and Costa Rica!

What a View

We were only there 2 nights and when we arrived there was no electricity, no flashlights and no candles/matches. The property manager worked diligently to get us flashlights. The driveway is long and steep, the recommendation for 4 wheel drive is absolutely warranted. A little further from attractions then I was expecting. No air conditioning. But on a clear day it is spectacular and very comfortable.

Amazing view and house

The house and pool were great but that view, you just can’t beat! Everything was there that we needed. Just wish the road was a little easier to get up to the house but otherwise all good. Check in process was good and Ericka and Agustin took great care of us.

Location was fantastic for bird watching. The view from the back patio is stunning! Pool was not in good working order. Wasn’t super clean. Not guest friendly… no closets, hooks, towel racks, or places besides the floor for luggage or clothing.

Beautiful home and views

This was our first visit to Costa Rica. The home and views were as good if not better than described. The bird life and comforts of this home all made for beautiful memories. Hope to visit Costa Rica again and would hope to enjoy it from this home again.

Amazing!

The photos do not do the house justice. On arrival the house was clean and had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials. Each room had an individual bathroom with shower that had good pressure. The view of the arenal volcano was breath taking and the pool was a perfect way to stay cool down in the heat. Disclaimer the pool structure is made of a cement type of material and we did get some scrapes, but nothing too bad. Also, there is no jacuzzi it is simply a “water feature”. In addition, there are lots of insects surrounding the property and they do tend to go in the house but we expected it and we had no real issues. One thing I wish the house provided would be some type of curtain in the master bedroom. The sunrise would light up the room and wake us up very early and at night it was pitch black outside and creepy at first especially with all the noise outdoors. Overall, we would definitely stay here on our next visit to Costa Rica!

Rainforest getaway

My wife and two adult children stayed here for a week. Everything was as advertised, especially the need of a four wheel drive getting to the place. A lot of room in the house and beautiful views. The large porch was very relaxing for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Would definitely stay again.

Serenity is the Perfect Name

What a special place to stay. The view of Arenal is amazing and there are so many birds you can watch all day and see a dozen or more species. Sit on the back deck and watch the hummingbirds…..and there are lots of them. House was very nice, beds are comfy, has all the essential kitchen supplies and the water is potable. The Master has no blinds so be prepared but there is no one to look in so no worries. Note, there are no closets or dressers so you will be living out of your suitcase. As many others have pointed out the drive to the place is more than a little interesting. For sure have a 4WD vehicle, which you need anyway for some of the things to do in the area. There is a restaurant up the hill that is very good and reasonable. We got in late due to a wreck and showed up to eat 20 minutes before they closed. They could not have been nicer and the food was tasty. There was also a group of women doing karioki upstairs which was entertaining.

Great location

This property is wonderful. Just the other side of the mountain from la Fortuna and a long drive up a mountain but well worth it. There are lots of things to do and places to eat right near the property and the wildlife you can see out your door is incredible.

A stunning location with a comfortable and well-equipped home. Morning coffee on the patio to watch the toucans along with other birds and the amazing views of the Arenal Volcano made for the best start to each day. There are lots of activities in the area and great places to eat, especially the Ventanita Cafe and the Phoenix. Just make sure you have a four-wheel vehicle to get to and from the house when you leave the main road...it's a must have. We highly recommend Serenity!

Breathtaking!!!

Absolutely the best view I've ever had at any of the VRBO's we have stayed in. Make sure you rent a 4x4 to make it to the house but once their it is amazing. It was an easy check in and out. The house is clean and simple but has everything you need.

House with a view

Serenity House is exactly what is described and all the photos are accurate. The views from the porch are amazing and the wildlife is everywhere. We saw monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds and countless more birds. The nighttime insects are abundant though so be prepared for that. The pool stopped working 2x in our time there and would randomly turn back on, it wasn’t too big of a deal because it was too cold for us to use. The view from the pool is lovely though. As for location…it is VERY remote. The drive up the mountain is very rough and you definitely need 4x4. It was an adventure for sure. We had dinner at The Phoenix our first night and it was perfect. El Patio at the bottom of the road also has outstanding food. Overall, we loved the house and location. Just be prepared for rough roads and bugs and spiders in the house. It is a jungle!

Amazing views, great off the beaten path stay

Wonderful house at a great price. It is as described, so be prepared to be a little remote. The local town is wonderful with a great fruit and retable stand, bakery, and restaurants. Each morning we would adventure out for an activity (such as hanging bridges and ziplines). It took about 35 minutes to get to the different destinations. The view from the house is wonderful and as other reviews mention, the wildlife is present! Our only hiccup was with the couple of power outages we had to figure out how to manual open the gate. It was simple enough todo, but did cause a moments pause.
