”As a single woman traveler, I did not feel safe at this property. It was kind of like a ghost town. although there were few travelers at the hotel, there was a plethora of Special Forces armed police. they were everywhere. ”This is a beautiful resort! Staff is so friendly and helpful. They really make your stay exceptional! We have been there many times but not in the last 14 years. I would say that the grounds are not kept up as well as in the past, but still very beautiful. Rooms were clean, except for the floor walking around very little without shoes, feet were black. ”Where to start? First let me say that Ambar are condos, not a resort so each unit is individually owned & most are managed by different property managers. Our unit was managed by GPS Hospedajes Vacacionales. I could not get access to the property, they told me to see the administator who was not there for the 1st 6 days of our week there. The security guard was also no help. Once we did get in, there were no face cloths, hand towels, bath towels, dish cloths or dish towels. There were no pillow...
