”Everything was wonderful during our stay with one exception. We stayed in room 306 and every so often we’d hear this strange knocking noise next to the bathroom and electric box. It occurred at all times and night with the last night being from 4:30 am until 6 am. We spoke to staff who said they were aware of the problem and there was a loose pipe in the wall. The only way to fix it would be to open the wall. It sounds as if no one wants to fix it. Other than the problem with the wall everyone...

”Really great value hotel. Nice bar with an extremely talented bar tender. The free breakfast was not your typical cereal and stale bread spread. Crepes, berry parfaits, frittatas and good coffee. I selected it because it was close to Baylor and pet friendly and very pleasantly surprised.”

”The Waco Hilton is an old hotel but is clean and so convenient to many good. restaurants. Parking is free but if an event is going on in the adjacent park, finding a place to park can be tough. Very safe. ”

”When we arrived they told us we had to pay an additional $100 deposit (which they wanted to run through on a card and then later refund, if we were paying cash. I had no problem with them having the card number, but didn’t have enough on the debit card to put the hundred through. We wound up having to use my daughter’s card. Wish we had been advised of this policy ahead of time. Also, we were not able to adjust the room temperature. Was not impressed.”

”Although there was a lot of construction in the area, it was still a great place to stay. The area seems to be getting a revitalization. We had a 2 bedroom layout and it was perfect.
