"Nice and clean old hotel by the lake. Wonderful location close to the train station and the ferry port. There’s a construction site in front of the hotel but it did not bother us much. Great breakfast, delicious plums!"

"We booked this based on the good reviews, but unfortunately I can’t understand those. The hotel lobby and gym were nice and clean and breakfast was good. Our room was outdated, our window faced a wall and other rooms’ windows. The bed was very uncomfortable and squeky. We only had one big blanket and when we asked for another one, they did not bring sheets. I then went and asked for sheets and they gave me one (which was not enough for the blanket) and then the next day the cleaner took it away. The shower was very irritating, because the water temperature dropped constantly. The shower drain was blocked. Also, people wrote that the food was tasty - it was not. We ate at the hotel bistro once and it was not good, just overpriced. The best thing here was that the staff was very friendly and helpful. But it wouldn’t be enough for me to stay there again."

"Great location. Excellent service. Very good breakfast buffet and breakfast bag for early leavers. Quick checkout and check-in. Deluxe room was spacious and comfortable. Only minor cons: Wi-Fi quite slow, no international TV channels."
