Majatalot – Lagoa

”Cozy room and really friendly staff! I like the home style feel. The only downside was that we were on the third floor with no elevator, which I didn’t realize at booking. Also found some parts of the building construction a bit “off” - the bathroom door didn’t close without a good heavy push, and my phone charger tripped the lights at one point.”

”Everything was easy to find. Opening the doors with the code worked great as well as the gate. There was lots of room for parking. The breakfast was lovely and the coffee was brewed in a pot just like at home and in a nice big mug.”

”My sister and I, two 70+ y/o US travelers found The Rock to be a well located, clean, and quiet guest house. Rebeca was easy to contact and very helpful. Staff member Grace was delightful. Breakfast each day was quite good. We would certainly recommend The Rock to others.”

”The bungalow was clean and very beautiful. However, we had booked it for two adults and our daughter, and the space intended for the third guest was not truly suitable for sleeping. The sofa bed in the living room was extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the lack of curtains on the front door and window, combined with two very bright emergency exit lights that could not be turned off, made the room far too bright at night. When we arrived, the pool was not safe for swimming, and we had not...

”Commercial boutique azores was just what we needed to start our Portugal trip. The location is perfect - you can really walk everywhere and everything you would want to do and see is within minutes. The room was a very good size and spotless. The electronic blinds were an amazing touch to make the room completely black during the night The staff, carlos and anibal were truly amazing and attentive and provided wonderful restaurant recommendations. Although we didn’t use the patio at the...

”Beautiful place to stay!”

”Great breakfast”

”Terra Nostra is just across the street. Grocery store is very close. Bus stop is close by. Secure check in with codes. Even though there’s no front desk , it’s easy to navigate as long as you come at the scheduled check in , otherwise code won’t work. If you need to use the bathroom before check in there’s football locker rooms around the corner and a restaurant”

”Nice and clean. Traffic was a bit noisy. Would of preferred a room at the back not facing the street.”
