”Pulling into the motel the roof looked a mess and when my husband went in to register the lobby smelled awful and the chairs were torn and dirty. We contacted Expedia and they called the manager who refused to let them can the reservation. The room was ok, nice bed and tv. Bathroom needed work/repairs.”

”This is a newer hotel so I feel that all staff and amenities are very pleasing. The stay was comfortable, everything was clean & the hotel staff is friendly. To my knowledge, there are only two chain hotels located directly in Crown Point. All other hotels are in Merrillville - the neighboring city. Towne Place is directly across from everything that seems to be of convenience; restaurants, gas, groceries, & U. Of Chicago extension hospital...”

”Room had toothpaste splattered on the mirror, someone’s hair all over the floor in the bathroom, huge stains on the walls, used tissue in the toilet. I tried to flush it and the toilet didn’t seem to want to flush I tried3 times and it finally went down and the phone in the room had some sort of grease all over it and was never cleaned. Very disgusting!! Also it was right by the expressway and traffic was down to one lane due to construction and there was a very loud constant banging noise every...

”In this day and age when corporations/management companies buy up residences and manage them from afar, it's a breath of fresh air to have hosts who are right on site, offering real human interaction, that for me, helps make the stay a much more comfortable experience. Jenn and Dan were very attentive to my needs and also had suggestions for a place to walk to refresh my travel weary body. I enjoyed the tidy, well arranged apt.”
