”Judy and Carlos' place in Portola was great for our buddy golf trip. Great location right next to the lake, stunning views, and the house had everything we could possibly need. Was only 15 minutes from Grizzly Ranch, and there were a few other courses near by. We particularly enjoyed the projector room, and porch. Reasonably priced, everything was comfortable so overall would recommend. ”

Fantastic location, we were able to walk downtown to grab coffee / breakfast / drinks with ease (about 12 min walk through the neighborhood). ”This home is very well stocked for an adventure in the Lost Sierra! The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking in, all the rooms and beds were comfortable, and the backyard was great for hanging out. ”We wanted somewhere close to Mill Pond so our kids would get a great view of the fireworks and this location didn’t disappoint. We had a 10 min walk for truly excellent seats of the fireworks. The place was clean, quiet and beautiful. Friendly neighborhood and people. Only downside was when i tried to contact the owner (silly thing but a black widow in the bathroom), we never got a reply. Glad there wasn’t a bigger issue because of no response. ”

”We have stayed all over this area in the last 30 years and this was the "wildest" experience ever! It was like nice accommodations inside a zoo with animals that were tame and fun to watch.
