”Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”

Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere. ”A beautiful and unique B & B. We had a beautiful room with a free standing bath. Beautifully decorated throughout. There were a lot of stairs.. so if that’s not for you.. be aware! Parking was tight but manageable. We did walk home from town, but it was a bit of a hike after a long day. Staff were lovely and breakfast was wonderful. ”
