”We had a very warm welcome on arrival. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly and it was great we could eat with our dog in the bar. The family room was very clean and good size. Not a great view of the fire escape but it didn’t matter for one night. In a great location in the seafront and easy to park outside on the road for free. ”
”It was close to major attractions in the town. Parking was included but the lot is not that big so you may have to find parking elsewhere if full, but it was secured with a gate. ”

Hotel was beautiful and certainly above the ‘stars’ given.
Bedrooms were massive and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were amazing and plenty of it.
Some decor dated bit the staff certainly made up for any of that. .. Kind, professional, knowledgable, engaging abd with a sense of humour. …. Certainly a credit to Hotel.
Hotel has recently been modernised bit nit lost its Victorian charm.

”A fantastic family run B&B. Our 1st time here, albeit, we may have stayed in the Lakes over two dozen times. Very friendly services. Excellent breakfast. Andy and Micheal are truly making our 3 nights stay better than most hotels we have stayed at in the Lake District. ”
”First impression were great, plenty of parking, very friendly staff. Room clean but slightly tired. That drawback was more than made up for by the amazing food. We the steak pie and the clam chowder. Both were fantastic, very tasty very filling. Breakfast the next day was great as well. Will be back if we're ever in the area.”
