”We stayed in one of the 10 Slab Huts, very rustic but comfortable. Close to tourist locations with QANTAS Founders across road and Stockmans Hall of Fame both within short walking distance.
The only drawback would be the traffic noise from highway with road trains travelling 24/7.”

”This was in a beautiful setting. We had a room with a kitchenette which was very useful. Breakfast and lunch in our room and dinner at the lodge. The staff was extremely helpful. They were even able to provide change for a larger bill so I could do laundry. We went hiking 2 days on very well marked trails. The store had souvenirs but also practical things needed including fly nets!”

”The Coolibah Hotel is aptly rated at 3 star. Unfortunately when we arrived, there was no pool as advertised which was disappointing. However upon checking in, we were given an upgrade room for no additional expense which was greatly appreciated. The owner was very accommodating and we had a re-union dinner there one night and the buffet meal was great. Given its an older style motel, there were several small maintenance items that required attention but nothing that caused us any great...
