I want to be able to give a higher score, but cant. We got there and my wife started to check us in while I was gathering our things in the car and the lady told her she couldn’t help her and immediately picked up the phone and ignored her until I got in. She ended up being nice, but I didn’t like that. When we asked about our room not being in the main building and if it would be a long walk they told us it was only 10 feet away. True the building was, but our room was very far down the building and they did not tell us that it was very long and cold walk outside to a creepy old motel style corridor. When we went back in we paid to upgrade. A man named Tom was great he went out of his way to offer us a tour. The restaurant on sight had wonderful live music and sweet and helpful staff. They really made our night. The pool room was cold, had peeling paint everywhere, the hot tub was kind of cold, and the sauna had loose boards all over which made us a little nervous to sit. We left early because there was a very loud and consuming team of 10 year old girl basketball players screeching and running around the pool area like crazy. It was anything but relaxing.The rooms were nice and clean in the premium area. Could have used some kind of white noise in the room though. The heat fan wouldn’t stay on and there was nothing to toon out noises in the hotel like girls running around and being very loud late at night.
