”Impeccably clean, quiet, and in a very convenient location. Included all the amenities I needed, and then some. Close to many hiking trails and small towns like Chestertown (check out the Bullhouse restaurant) and North Creek (Gore Mountain gondola, Izzy’s Market & Deli, Barkeater Chocolates). It’s also a quick drive to Lake George, but I was looking to avoid crowds. Nice bonus to have Tripp Pond on the property for swimming and kayaking (hint: arrive early in the day or later in the afternoon...

”The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased.”

”First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!”
