Waterfront Retreat on Mini "Golden Pond" 10 Miles Lake George

TRANQUIL RETREAT -Three makuuhuone koti sijaitsee mini "On Golden Pond". Vain kolme muuta asuntoa yksityisomistuksessa olevan 10 hehtaarin altaan. Melonta- ja kajakkeja - kaikki käytettävissä paikan päällä navigoidakseen kristallinkirkkaassa vedessä. Lammessa sijaitsevassa pakoon päässyt on serenaded vesimuodosta, joka kulkee padon yli purolle alla. Myös vain 1/4 kilometriä Lake Luzerne julkisen rannan. Gazebo, kaasugrilli, patio, telakka, piknikpöytä, riippumatossa, ulkotulipaikka ja Adirondackin tuolit tekevät siitä täydellisen mahdollisuuden rentoutua tai viihdyttää.

Ja sisällä, (jos olet koskaan menossa): Talo on täysin kalustettu, jossa on olohuone, makuuhuone, iso kylpyhuone, jossa pesukone ja kuivausrumpu, keittiö ja ruokasali ensimmäisessä kerroksessa. Keittiössä on täysikokoinen jääkaappi, sähköliesi / uuni, kahvinkeitin, mikroaaltouuni ja leivänpaahdin. Keittiössä on suuri ikkuna, josta on kaunis näköala lampiin, joka innostaa sinua kokkiessasi. Suuri ruokapöydässä voi istua jopa 8 henkilöä. Muut kaksi makuuhuonetta ovat toisessa kerroksessa; molemmilla on ikkunat, joista on näkymät veteen. Kaikissa huoneissa mahtuu korkeintaan kaksi henkilöä. Liinavaatteet ja roskapalvelu tarjotaan. Internet-yhteys sisältyy hintaan.

DAY / NIGHT LIFE -
SARATOGA SPRINGS: Noin 20 minuuttia Saratoga Springsin viehättävään kaupunkiin, ostosmahdollisuuksiin, Saratoga Performing Arts Centeriin (lukuisia kesätapahtumia, orkesterin ja baletin), Saratoga Flat -radan, Saratoga Polo Clubin, Saratoga Harness Trackin ja uuden Saratoga Gaming Casinon . Lähellä tarpeeksi, mutta kaukana uudenvuoden juhla-ajoista.

LAKE LUZERNE: Noin 1/4 kilometrin kävelymatka järvelle Luzerne-järvelle ja yleiselle rannalle. Vapaa kesäiset ulkokonsertit paviljonkiin, joka näkymät järvelle Luzerne. Up hillin Hadley / Luzerne julkiseen kouluun pääsy leikkipaikka. Lyhyt kävelymatka Luzernen järven kaupunkiin, jossa on julkinen kirjasto, markkinat, kaupunkikoripallo ja tenniskentät, UpRiver-ravintola ja koskenlasku retket. 9-reikäinen golfkenttä - Haddyn joen mutka (alle viiden meripeninkulman päässä). LAKE GEORGE: Noin 10 kilometrin päässä meidän loma-asunnosta! Lake George -toimintaa ovat Six Flags Great Escape -teemapuisto ja Splash Water Kingdom, sekä sisävesipuisto. Historic Fort William Henry ja Lake George Battlefield Park, Prospect Mountain 100 kilometrin näkymä, josta on näköala Lake George. Lake George Village tarjoaa ylellisiä ostoskeskuksia, Lake George Steamboat Cruises-, yökerhoja, kahviloita, ravintoloita, ratsastusta, minigolfia ja ilotulituksia joka torstai-ilta järven yli. Such a beautiful property. This was our second time staying at this property. We love the area and the house is such a central location to Lake George and other areas. Our favorite thing about the home is the kayaks, I was up at 6 AM every day all by myself kayaking around the pond. We used the fire pit every day, just up the road there was someone selling firewood for 15 for a wheelbarrow full, it was enough to last us for four nights. Within walking distance of the home, there’s a beautiful park with some small waterfalls and two little one room with museums. There’s a mini golf and an ice cream stand also within minutes.

The pictures on the website were somewhat misleading and didn’t accurately reflect the overall cleanliness of the house. Upon arrival, there was a noticeable musty smell, and the property appeared as though it hadn’t been cleaned or occupied for quite sometime.

The property was peaceful to stay at. House was described as noted in the descriptions and pictures. Not as clean as we would have expected (but it is also an older home that could use painting and some touch ups). A musty smell as noted in one of the other reviews. It didn’t bother me but my elderly father has breathing problems and it did affect him. The location was perfect as it was close to the beach, market, Lake George and tubing adventures!!! We were asked to strip the beds and take out the garbage which was not in the description when I booked. It was fine as it only took a few minutes just not something I expected as I thought that was part of renting. Overall a good stay.

My Family had a great stay at the Pondhouse. Diane was a fantastic host. Highly recommend. The house is adorable, clean and had all the amenities that we could need for a stay away from home. Lake Luzerne is an adorable town with fun historical sites and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Great spot for peace and quiet. The Pondhouse was so quiet. Fun to take the kayaks out in the early morning and watch the Herons catch their breakfast. Just what we needed. Many thanks for lovely memories.

lovely cottage

the cottage was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children). we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. we enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak, and appreciated the size range of life vests. We enjoyed the area including lake lurzne and george.

Quiet and peaceful

Very quiet and peaceful area, close to the market and it is a great area to walk with a dog. We felt safe and secluded. The water in the pond was so clear all the way to the bottom and the use of the paddle boat was a lovely perk. We typically rough camp locally during the summers visiting with family, but with a new baby we wanted some more modern conveniences like running water and electricity - the pond house was a fabulous alternative to our usual accommodations and we will likely make this a more regular part of our summer’s in Hadley/luzerne. The kitchen, bathrooms, and linens were all very clean. The ceilings throughout were a little cobwebby. Bedrooms were large and had enough room for a pack and play/bassinet Overall the home made for a wonderful weekend with family for our little 5mo old’s first vacation. We will definitely be planning a return trip to the pond house

The place was spacious but not sure if the place hadn't been rented out in a while. Bad musty smell. The place could have been aired out in advance. Windows were dirty. Very dusty under tv stand like the floors hadn't been mopped. Had many rules forthe kitchen table. We brought our own table cloth to cover it so there wouldn't be any issues. Other than that the kitchen was well stocked with pans, dishes etc.

Wouldn't change a thing!

We stayed at a friend's house in Lake Luzerne two years ago and fell in love with the area. It's as quiet or as "busy" as you want to make it due to its proximity to Saratoga, Lake George, etc. Last year we stayed at one of Diane's other properties (Looney Bin) and loved it. In looking at her other listings, we chose the House on Mini Golden Pond this year, as it was a bit more spacious AND sits right on the most beautiful pond. The house didn't disappoint. I think the biggest surprise that we found that didn't translate through the listing photos was the size and layout of the kitchen. IT IS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. A huge countertop prep space with a picture window overlooking the yard and the pond... Location was awesome, as you can walk right into "town," where there is a food market, pharmacy, clothing boutique, scenic river overlook, library, and a few historical structures. We had our dog with us (another reason we exclusively choose to rent with Diane), and she loved walking into town or doing more scenic walks if you go that other direction from the house. Our girls (14 and 16) are a little old for just wanting to go swimming, so they LOVED the paddleboat and kayaks that come with the house. The pond itself is clear and clean and so incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The bathroom was recently renovated and includes a new full-size washer and dryer. Honestly, if you're considering booking this, just click now and do it - you won't regret it (and you may not want to leave)!

Amazing!!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property and we didn't want to go home. This place is a hidden gem! If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation rental then you need to book now! Diane was wonderful to work with and very responsive to all of my questions. We can't wait to come back!!

Wonderful week in an idyllic home

We were a party of 6 adults who stayed a week in order to make day trips to Lake George, Ticonderoga, Albany, Saratoga Springs and western Vermont. We found the home to be very comfortable and, in all ways, as depicted in the listing (or better). It was perfectly situated for the types of trips I mentioned and for days you want to stay on property, too. We hope to return!

Annual retreat

Diane has been a fantastic hostess year after year. We come here every year to get away from the world and are always very happy with our choice to return. Everything is well maintained and the location is perfect.

Great Stay

We were passing through on a vacation with our dog and had never visited this area before. We only had a couple of days to stay, but were very glad we did. This was such a nice, private spot on the water and we were able to use the kayaks on the pond. The property manager was so prompt with responses to our questions and very helpful with ideas of things to do nearby, including hikes, biking trails, and restaurants. Wish we had more time to explore, but would definitely return. Also, so glad it was dog-friendly.
