”A lovely hotel in a nice neighbourhood. Value was good for NYC. Rooms are nicely decorated and good size for the city. Might be a good idea to bring earplugs though. Our room had no view, so ask for a one that does if that is important to you. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

The kitchenette in our room was an absolute lifesaver—having a place to whip up quick meals or snacks for the little ones was such a relief. It’s not something you find in every NYC hotel, so it really set this place apart for us.

”Great hotel! The rooms are small, but very fresh! The bed, blanket and pillows are very comfortable and fresh. The hotel's location is good, the subways are nearby, central park is also within walking distance. The cafe downstairs is absolutely wonderful, very good coffee and delicious breakfast. Some noise from the streets carried very clearly to the room (7th floor), so it interrupted the sleep on occasion. The advertised breakfast was a disappointment - it’s just a coffee and a sweet pastry, which we had to request separately when the front desk said it’s not included in our stay (what it was and luckily we had it stated on the reservation).”

”Hotelli on tyypillinen Inn NYC:ssä, joka on perussiisti ja tarjoaa aamiaisen joka on syötävää mutta ei erikoista. Lisäksi löytyy kuntosali ja pieni baari alakerrassa. Aiempiin kokemuksiin erilaista oli automaattisen huonesiivouksen puuttuminen, mikä ei sinänsä ollut iso ongelma koska sen sai pyydettäessä ja uusia pyyhkeitä ym. sai respasta pyytämällä helposti.
Hotelli sijaitsee 10. ja 11. avenuen välissä, eli hieman syrjässä Manhattanin länsireunalla. Siitä kävelee kuitenkin suht nopeasti...

Central Park is also close by, which meant plenty of green space for the kids to run around. Plus, there are tons of great local spots for coffee, groceries, and dining, so we always had options.
The staff at Hotel Beacon were genuinely friendly and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were great with our kids, which made the stay even more comfortable. We felt welcomed from the moment we checked in until the moment we left.
Overall, Hotel Beacon gave us a great base to explore NYC, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend it, especially for families!"
