”Really enjoyed the place! If you are looking for peace and quiet then you need to book this cabin. Sit out on the screened in porch or take a nap out there as well and listen to the St. Regis River run over the rocks. Plenty of acreage that Louie and Sandy have to walk along the established trails and take in the smells of the Adirondack forest. Just down the road is the Catherineville State Forest 1600 acres to explore as well as Sylvan Falls. Potsdam is about 20-25 mins away with some good...

”The cabin was a perfect place from which to explore the Adirondacks. Traveling with a toddler (2.5 years) and a dog made finding a place tricky, but this was a great fit. The fireplace made some unexpectedly wet and chilly days so much more enjoyable. The screened in outdoor porch helped us hang out outside despite black fly season. Communication pre-checkin was great and we were even able to check in a couple hours early. Overall, a great place. Would definitely stay here again. ”

”This a cute property. It has recently been renovated blending its classic original charm and modern amenities. This home is clean and comes with everything you would need on a trip away. The kitchen is heavily stocked with with utensils, pots and pans, and small kitchen appliances. It is also loaded with spices, seasonings and some everyday foods. We plan on staying here again when we visit. ”

”There is nothing fancy about the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. We had one small problem with the diverter not working in the shower in the morning but...

”We enjoyed the quiet, wooded setting. The cabin is new and nicely appointed. We enjoyed visiting the Almanzo Wilder farm, hiking, and visiting Saranac Lake and the Eisenhower Lock on the St. Lawrence River. Plenty to do, but the cabin is also nice for relaxing. The firepit was great also.”

Our accommodations were incredible - many subtle touches that made our stay that much better. The outside space is terrific and the screened-in back room was awesome.
