This hotel is away from the main town but offers a shuttle several times through the day and it is only a 10 minute ride highly recommend taking a ferry to the island in the middle of Lake Toya. ”Although this property is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the ski lifts, we were offered a pick up on most mornings and afternoons. Our driver Nao was always extremely punctual, friendly and helpful. He drove us over to East Mountain directly on most mornings. He also picked us up from the shuttle bus on our arrival and dropped us off with our luggage to the bus on our departure. Nao also supplied us with a hot pot one evening which was absolutely delicious!”
”Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields.
