”We stayed in the Woodpecker room. It was very clean and had its own private terrace. You can hear the interstate and the trains when sitting on the terrace, but it didn't bother us. It was very quiet inside the room at night. Breakfast was excellent. Bed was also great. We slept very well. We stayed for one night and found it a nice change from the usual motel or hotel rooms; it was ideal for our stopover.”

”Beautiful home in a lower end neighborhood. Sort of sticks out amongst the locals. Walking our dogs down to the railroad tracks. We noticed quite a few homeless people. They were friendly, but it’s always heartbreaking to see people living out of their cars.”

”We had 4 adults and two Labradors. The property is down a gravel path. There is a lovely flat area around the house that gave the dogs plenty of space to sniff and play. The house has great indoor and patio seating areas with a beautiful views of the lake. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools for cooking. We enjoyed the trains going by. The views are beyond words, We enjoyed driving around the parks, visiting the crystal shops in Shasta and relaxing in the quietness of our surroundings.
