”Lovely hotel and staff, pool very nice. Room disappointing. Building works going on throughout the hotel which wasn’t made clear at booking. We were in a ‘family room’ which was essentially a meeting room converted on the ground floor. The only radiator in such a large room was around half a meter from my head when in bed, the chosen location very uncomfortable and I therefore did not sleep well at all. Shower tray flooded easily which was annoying. Ok but the experience was certainly...

”What a pleasant place this was. We had food in the Dolly bar and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and had everything you could want If I was being picky it would of been lovely to of seen outside lights from the bar so you could see the river in the dark”

”The Daffodil Hotel is a really decent hotel, we came for our little honeymoon. Room was very clean, reception staff very welcoming and the beds are comfortable. We loved the view from our window of the lake and hills. Gorgeous location! Only issues was we had no fridge in our room, not having somewhere cold to store our 'bottled gifts' we brought from our wedding was disappointing. ”The indoor spa was great. Staff were awesome as well - really professional. Can imagine it's great when the outdoor spa is open and during the summer. Some of the negatives...breakfast could do with some improvements, the ingredients tasted low quality some of the cooking was questionable (fried eggs for example). ”This hotel is 10/10 the staff the room the restaurant and especially the spa were amazing! we had a very easy check in and our bags bought up to our room. I had notified the hotel it was my boyfriends birthday so we received 3 birthday cards in total from the main hotel W restaurant staff and the spa. We had a lovely relaxing two days stay and will definitely be coming back. Would also like to mention the guest relations manager think his name was Craig but he was amazing and very accommodating...
