”We had such a wonderful time staying in this hotel, enjoying the restaurants and shopping at the boutiques!”

”Cute condo right next to Lift Bridge. Well stocked condo, comfy beds and easy check in/check out process. We enjoyed our stay and hope to go back sometime soon.”

”Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, comfy beds, nice deck, fluffy towels. Cons: Only one elevator - on the end of the hotel instead of in the middle. Breakfast was crowded as they have a small galley kitchen with barely enough room to make a waffle. They were also out of some basic food items the entire three times we went there. In order to watch YouTube or Prime you need to connect to the hotel's internet. But it disconnected more than 20 times over two days. This was extremely frustrating....

”Cute little place on Lake Superior! The place was very clean and the staff was very kind & helpful. The hotel has a popcorn bar with fixings from 4-7pm in the lobby and smores in the evening out on the patio area, both were a great “free” perk! Only things that weren’t great was that the hot tub is pretty small (capacity of 5 people) and the balconies don’t have a lot of privacy. Otherwise a very nice stay!”

”The room decor does not make sense! More thought should have been put into planning it. There was a sofa that faced a closet style cabinet and a desk (with 2/4 dead outlets!) One quarter of a VERY large screen tv was visible directly ahead in this area, because it was hung mostly in front of the bedroom area, but off to one side, rather than centered to the room. There was a microwave / refrigerator furniture piece. The door on the refrigerator was not reversed to match the hinging on the...

”We stayed in the Creekside Suite and it was sweet experience! The room was located on the second floor and it was nicely set up, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The windows and balcony had nice views. The coffee, muffins and fruit were lovely in the morning. The building was quiet and other guests we passed by in the common area were friendly. We would enjoy staying here again!”

”Free bottled water available at front desk. XL smart TV was nice once you figured out how to find the channels with your kind of programing.”

”This was a historic, beautiful place to stay. Very cozy, comfortable bed, quiet, private. Easy from start to finish. If you like more private and not dealing with anyone this is such a great stay the rooms are incredibly nice and they have everything you need in them. We will Definitely be staying here again.”

”parking was fantastic. Room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was big. #5 is on the second floor. Nice view of the lift bridge and a nice view of Lake Superior from the small balcony. We did take a sauna.”

”Clean room, good breakfast, nice staff but they seemed a bit annoyed because I asked to check in 15 minutes before 3:00. We waited in the lobby and when I heard them checking someone in I went back and then was given a room.”

”Staff were very nice and welcoming, gave great recommendations for the area. Facility was clean inside and beds were very comfortable. Temperature inside was warm and rather humid despite the AC. Parking is very difficult if you do not reserve a space for $10+ per night, the area does not allow street parking overnight. Neighborhood is pretty rough. A few guests came into the dorm late into the night (2-4am) dropping cans of beer and making a fair bit of noise but other than that very quiet....
