”When i got there, at first glance, the room looked and smelled really good until i got to the bathroom. The toilet and shower were not cleaned from the last people who stayed because there was poop stains in the toilet and hair in the shower drain and a dried up soap bar on the ledge of the shower.
The garbage had used Q tips and kleenex left in it.
It was gross.”

”The cottage was very attractive from the outside and the inside. Big trees around the property and one entrance had a handicapped ramp which was very helpful to me with mobility issues. The inside was extremely clean and well organized. Large free-standing fireplace and attractive furnishings. The big kitchen/dining room had plenty of space for a family. ”Our stay was not typical. First the location is great, lots of room, big deck, peaceful lakeside. We had to cut our stay short because of a recurring issue with a gas leak. The owner lives in Las Vegas. Responses to phone msg and texts varied. This would not have been a big problem except for the urgency of our particular situation. Coordination issues with local caretaker/utilities ultimately contributed to our early departure. There was an initial attempt to repair but the problem reoccured....
