”They have the best location in town for those who want to visit the Lalibela churches on their own. The staff is friendly and they even sent their own driver to meet me at the airport (price the same as for a shared shuttle). The dinner and the breakfast were excellent.”

Hotelli sijaitsi lähellä keskustaa (bazaazilla 5 min) ja kivikirkoille (päänähtävyys Lalibelassa) käveli oikoreittiä 10 minuuttia. Ravintolan ruoka oli perushyvää. Lista ei ollut mitenkään erityisen erikoinen, mutta ruoka oli hyvää ja palvelu ravintolassa oli erittäin hyvää!”

”This is my favorite spot in all of Ethiopia. It was my second stay at this hotel and proved to be as special as the first. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The view from the balcony is extraordinary with crows, eagles and hawks flying at by. The morning coffee was delicious and everyone was extremely accommodating and kind. I highly recommend.”

”FikirandRay is a relatively new hotel and offers comfort and quiet. It is a short walk from a restaurant with great views down the valley. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good. You need a guide to get around and bargain but prices tend to be somewhat set. Lalibela is well worth seeing, which you can do in two days, or most pf it in one day.”

”Great service, huge villas, traditional dishes were very good. WiFi is so-so and only available in reception and restaurant. Nice big pool if you’re there when it’s hot enough. Hot water and huge showers. Incredible views and beautiful landscaping. ”

”Personally, I loved the simplicity and minimalism of the hotel. The uniqueness. The noises you can hear through the walls. (I need noise to fall asleep and I was there over Timket celebration) I call this luxury. Wifi. A bed (with shiny bedding). A shower and running water. Friendly staff. A TV that I never used. (Like who needs television when life itself is entertaining enough). Transfer currency to Birr, as that is the only currency accepted. It states Complimentary water and transportation....
