”The apartment was truly amazing, from the minute you enter the main door, there is a wonderful fragrance. Upon entering the apartment, the deco was ver tasteful and the technology with electric blinds and a mirrored tv were amazing. Its very specious and very clean.The best place I've stayed in.The location is walking distance to everything in Kirkby Lonsdale. The owner went above and beyond, checking we were happy with everything. ”

”The room was spotless, warm, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast menu was excellent and the food very good. Tracey and Kevin are great hosts. All in all a very good stay. ”

”Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”

”We had originally booked a double bed, but they were out of stock, so they changed us to two rooms free of charge. Very kind of them.And the hotel has a very retro décor and a great atmosphere. You can play chess with friends by the warm fireplace while enjoying a beer. It's very pleasant”

”Lovely hotel, absolutely stunning. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough. Our room was in Rock House, a little annex and really comfortable and had every facility we could want. Just a ten minute walk into Grange-over-Sands. ”

”Wateredge Inn, Ambleside We stayed at the Wateredge Inn in October for one night and really liked it. The location is perfect, right by the water, and the room was lovely with an incredibly comfortable bed. Everything felt nicely done and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good too. We’d happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.”
