”Read the reviews and was slightly put off. But having spent the whole weekend at the hotel, my mind was changed. Staff were very helpful with all questions and information needed. Grounds and views are lovely. Used the spa and pool and enjoyed every minute. Check in and out was very easy, food was amazing (especially the lamb). Will definitely be back to visit in the next few weeks. Only thing I would ask if bottles of water could be put in the annex room, as im very fussy and refuse to drink...

”Would definitely recommend Garden View. Its a beautiful space, very cozy, quiet & comfortable. It's finished to a very high standard with everything you need for a self-catering break. Views from the garden are stunning & a great location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Lovely welcome from the host & a very thoughful welcome pack, including hot cross buns for Easter. Train station, shops, pubs & Pembroke Castle within easy walking distance. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!”

”Nobody at the property when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes for the housekeeping lady to arrive. She was great and very apologetic. Room was freezing on arrival.”

”The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. ”

”Clean house, good location. no on-site parking as stated in hotels.com description however is a cheap car park down the road to the side of the property. Could do with a double bed in downstairs room. ”

”The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. It just needs a bit deeper clean and there was piles of rubbish just outside the kitchen. The room was also a bit tired. Beds were comfy and there was tea, coffee,...

”The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sitting on the patio in the back garden was very relaxing. It’s a quiet place to relax and unwind especially if on the go like we were for the days previous to our stay. Tenby doesn’t have uber and getting a taxi isn’t the easiest as services are limited and need to be booked ahead of time. Make sure you arrange transportation if coming in on the train, as the Inn is about a 20-25 min walk (quite a bit uphill). The walk to town is much easier and faster...

”Nice stay at this cosy hotel. Good location & great parking - situated nicely between Saundersfoot & Tenby. Friendly staff, nice brekkie & recommended if you are visiting the area & don’t want to be in the middle of it all but still easily accessible if you want to go into either place. Very nice!”

”Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.”
