”Was a first time in Maui and in this hotel. Got an upgrade to a studio with a kitchen and a balcony. The room was awesome and super clean and comfortable! All the neccessary kitchen supplies to make breakfast, lunch ot whatever. Microwave, stove, oven, large fridge and freezer. The bed was excellent to sleep in. You can rent dvd's and playstation games at the lobby with no charge, nice thing to do in the evening. Also free of charge tennis outside. The hotel pool area is beautiful with one big...

”Not a great check-in experience, room had pulled up carpet and broken lamp (upgraded bungalow room) and was not worth the price we paid. Restaurants and Luau on-site were overpriced and underwhelming. The only upside was the manager Gretchen that helped us to move to a different room (lower priced), but better view. We didn't get any money back, but Gretchen was very nice and helped us out.”

”An older property that seems to have aged gracefully. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the end of the hallway, and I think this was a lifesaver. There’s no noise cancellation of any kind and had we been closer to the elevators, it would have been impossible for js (admittedly rough sleepers) to sleep. But as it was, we slept great, listening to the sounds of the waves. The beach is great (much much better than some more expensive resorts), and having sunbeds on the grassy yard...

”A very underwhelming experience. A property whose glory days are behind it. We got a message a few days in advance that the air conditioning will be out of order until June. Not a big deal, but it left a sour taste that the attendant in check-in told us "I just heard that the air conditioniong in your room is out of order". Later we found out that also the laundry room and the gym were out of order as they had experienced a fire of the electricity system. Lack of transperency is...
