”We stayed in one of the lakeside rooms which had a beautiful view. Room was slightly cold because of this but reception did provide us with an extra heater. It was my husbands birthday so they provided a gift and prosecco which was lovely. Food was great, lovely staff and clean hotel. Book ahead for the spa to avoid disappointment. ”

”Hotel was in the perfect location, and was really lovely. The room we had was on the top floor and a paid a extra £10 a night for a bigger room instead of the cosy room. I highly recommend getting a standard over the small. We had Aircon which was a thankful thing to see as it was boiling. The only down side was the aircon kept going cold to hot. Overall it was lovely and really good value. I would come back.”

”Had a lovely stay. The main property looks just like the online images and is really beautiful however, I’m assuming that most people stay in the building to the left which is less historic. Our check in was easy and even though we were brought to a room with just one bed, the staff rectified this pretty quickly and brought us to a room with two beds, which is what we had booked . Comfortable beds, quiet rooms. I would imagine it’s a little louder in the high season. We were a bit disappointed...

”The customer service was excellent. All staff were attentive, helpful and genuinely friendly and interested in us getting the most out of our stay. Room was lovely just a little bit hot overnight even with the window open. Thank you for a lovely stay”

”The room was amazing, the staff were super friendly especially as the day we arrived they were short staffed and running around doing reception and bar area. Food was superb, it was quite expensive for 1 night but well worth it”
