”Angela was wonderful, she met us upon arrival and helped us to settle. Prior to arriving she was great, and quick with communication via text. I was thinking the hotel would be kitschy and dated but it was absolutely not! It was a great balance of historic and modern, very clean, not dated, adorable little storybook/fairytale theme. ”In future it wouldn't be my first choice for accommodation due to the busy area and difficulty parking. I have a handicap, and no suitable parking was available, and had to park some distance from the front.”

”I have been dealing with a staff member since we left this location on June 6. They continue to say and promise me something as it had been “manager approved “ but still nothing. Beware of staying here, as they will say whatever you want to hear to get you to come, but won’t follow through. Worst IHG location I have ever had to deal with, which is sad. Staff has been not easy to deal with in person and on the phone.”

”We booked three rooms at this hotel for our family stay on June 26, 2026, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Everyone in our family gave me a hard time for choosing this hotel because it did not meet even our basic expectations. One of the biggest issues was the bathroom design. There was no sink inside the bathroom; the sink was located outside, which was very inconvenient and impractical for families. In addition, several basic bathroom supplies, including liquid hand...

”I had a very disappointing stay. The room was not clean at all. There were spiders in the room and the housekeeping did not clean properly even after multiple requests. The bed sheets had stains and the floor was dusty. Definitely not worth the price. I do not recommend this place.”

”Really nice place to stay. We stayed here impromptu during a road trip through BC. We're more than happy we picked here to visit The place was extremely quiet and very nice, plus we had almost free reign to get a sea view and watch the Canada day fireworks The hosts were super accomodating and looked after us well And the incded breakfast was excellent. Thanks again and a wonderful stay.”

”Fixtures are showing wear. USB ports don’t work. TVs need to be upgraded to streaming services . Definitely not living up to the standards we expect from sandman signature. We have been staying there since it first opened and won’t be in the future until upgrades are implemented.”

”Great for a passing through visit. Clean, well maintained but smelled a bit like old hotel and cigarettes. Breakfast was great, overall a good place to stay while travelling through.”

”The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...
