”Really lovely cottage, it's a bit isolated but really this is also probably one its positives as you can disconnect and relax.The cottage is a very good size, the beds are big and comfy and the owner is very welcoming.Great for dog owners as there are gate on the stairs and a fenced garden if you want somewhere for your dog to relax.Would highly recommend”

”Well I think as it was our 19th visit that speaks for itself. Fantastic as always, a perfect space to unwind and recharge your batteries. Lots of wildlife to see in the garden with all sorts of birds on the feeders and the special treat if you are lucky the deer family, lots of squirrels too. The Talbot Arms do great meals but you have to book early for a Sunday lunch. There is a gentle walk along the river down to Lyme Regis just a little harder coming back up but not as hard as the road way....

”The property is stunning, and the views are fabulous! I also noticed that the beds are very comfortable, everyone slept well. Overall, we have had a brilliant stay. The only thing I would mention, is considering the amount of money spent, I was surprised with how much was asked of you to do before leaving as early as 10am, I also had an email saying don’t strip the beds, but a text message an hour before we have to be out, to say we did have to strip the beds? I would just make sure any text...

”The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again ”

”Been here a few times close for fossil hunting at charmouth and Lyme Regis Always get a car space Could do with bedside cabinet in 2 big rooms to put bedside light on right pain having to get out of bed to turn light off Never tried the pool ”

”The Mallard Cottage was comfortable throughout and cleanliness exceptional internet access was also excellent the view from our enclosed garden was wonderful the dog enjoyed his many walks around the orchard and adjoining field would highly recommend and hope to return again thank you Ruth and Andrew our friendly hosts”
