”While the host was very friendly, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the shower, and felt that the floors could have been cleaner, over all it could have been cleaner, although the bedding and towels were nice fresh and clean. Breakfast was a disaster, mouldy bread, mouldy fruit in the fridge, things way past their use by/ best before dates ”

”Good hotel, perfect location for Durdle Door. We were eating out, so didn't try the breakfast / dinner options. Parking is easy and they help you get it cheaply.”

”Hotel close to pedestrian crossing to promenade and beach. Bar/restaurant very good. Lovely single room with a double size bed. Easy access to room via lift and through fire doors. Staff and especially Reception Staff were absolutely lovely. ”

”We paid extra for a gold room with a sea view, unfortunately it meant we could hear all the evening entertainment in the pub below which went on till late. (We heard every word through the microphone, including bingo and karaoke singing) Unfortunately the hotel staff couldn't do anything about, although they did try. Had we paid less and had a smaller room higher up it probably would have been better which is a shame. But it was great to have the beach so close out the front door. ”

”Beautiful view, comfortable bed friendly host - but take a blindfold if you want to sleep. Unfortunately I got very little sleep here, there are flood lights on the building which were on all night. I asked the host about them and he said it was the council who have them and they won't take them down - so then why not have blinds?! There were no blinds on the windows and the curtains were thin. It was like the aliens were landing it was SO bright. There were blinds in the breakfast room but not...

”Hotel is in great location but the car park is a public car park. So in busy times you could end up with no space although it’s a large car park. And it’s rough, loose stones and not flat. The staff are lovely, very helpful. We had a lovely sea view room, comfortable bed, nice bedding, not huge and the en suite is quite snug, but lovely and clean and modern. Nice to have cooked to order breakfast, overall a good place to stay.”

”We stayed one night on New Years Eve. Really heartwarming and friendly service. Our room was nice and tidy and we had a really good night sleep. Can strongly recommend this place if visiting Weymouth. ”
