”Saw this place advertised but paid no attention when making my plans. My mistake. This place is a hidden gem if you are looking for simple but more-than-adequate accomodations. The young couple that run the place really make a difference they are charming and engaging and treat customers like their personal guests. I spent the first several days of this trip at a nearby hotel at twice the price. It was not bad but not worth the additional cost. I will definitely be returning here.”

”Inexpensive for what you get. I stayed in a private over the water cabin with my own private bathroom. Conveniently close to Bocas Town. Host was friendly, patient, and very helpful. Has its own restaurant and bar, so really no need to go anywhere else. I would rent again. ”

”Fireside Inn is a lovely, restful, rustic retreat local near a mountain river. The Inn has its own ducks enjoying a small stream and little duck pound. George’s Grill offers great food. Try the baked fish in banana leaves or the tasty breakfasts. Had a lovely walk up the hill to see waterfalls, coffee trees, and many flowers. Or walk down hill to Boquete and enjoy flowers and rock walls”

”Spent 2 nights here recently.My daughter and I were the only guests. The hotel is isolated but interesting although close to a major and noisy road.Staff we met were kind but very low key which was no problem.Room was spartan but clean.As Colon is a pretty rough city this hotel is a good alternative to the city centre hotels where your mobility is limited due to the risk of violence.”
